Exciting Extras
Below are links and descriptions to a variety of other playlists for videos that I create for you to learn and enjoy math, chemistry and physics.
These short science experiments have become popular on my TikTok page. Check them out.
Algodoo is a free software you can download where you can create your own physics experiments or simulations. In this playlist, I have tutorials for how to use the software as well as some fun things to create such as Rube Goldberg Machines and Marble Races
Office Skills for Science Package
Here I have tutorial videos and handouts for using Word, Excel and Desmos specifically designed for science and math students. I highly recommend watching them as they can really save you a lot of time and frustration.
Many grade 11 math students have an assignment where they need to create an image or piece of art by using a variety of equations in Desmos. In this series, I teach you how to do as well as go over some examples.
In this series, I analyse the physics in popular video games and I also have a tutorial teaching you how you can do it yourself.
In my grade 12 physics course, I teach a lesson on quantum cryptography and I thought I should make a short video series on basic cryptography for interested students. Take a look if you're curious
Python Coding for Math Package
This is a series teaching you basic Python coding specifically designed to help you solve math and physics problems. It comes with a free downloadable handout. If you're a STEM student, learning some basic coding is a must.
Here is a short math series that I created to help students with their mental math. Watch the videos but it's important to practice as well as one will only improve with practice.
I usually have physics students that struggle with the math in the course. Being able to rearrange an equation is essential. This is a short video series where I use a visual software to show how many equations are rearranged.
Which Scientific Calculator do you have? Sharp, Casio, or maybe Texas Instruments? Do you know all about how to use it? Check out this mini-short series going over tips and tricks with your scientific Calculator
These are actual online escape room games that I create. There are currently some available for both grade 11 physics and grade 11 chemistry. Good Luck!
I'm usually amazed and shocked at how little students coming into grade 9 science know about space. This is a short video series where I go over many space facts and common misconceptions that I find students have. Please watch and let's learn about astronomy.
I run a variety of live sessions for test and exam review for math, senior chemistry and senior physics classes. You can also watch previous live sessions if you're studying for an upcoming test in one of these classes.
This is a new series that I started after many many requests for it. I read old physics stories by the fire. The first one is the life of Sir Isaac Newton.
